Atinga Nsobila Joel, a Ghanaian chef attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest barbecue marathon, has confirmed that all necessary evidence has been submitted for verification.
Contrary to reports of a delay, Atinga shared an email from Guinness World Records (GWR) on social media, confirming receipt of his submission for the “Longest barbecue marathon” record. The email outlined the next steps, including a detailed review by a Records Manager.
If successful, Atinga will receive a confirmation email and a complimentary Record Holder Certificate. Should additional information be required or if the record cannot be approved, GWR will contact him via email.
Atinga reassured the public, urging them to disregard claims suggesting a delay in his submission. He expressed commitment to the record attempt and gratitude for the support received.
“I want to assure everyone that I have submitted all required evidence and I’m committed to this record attempt. Thank you for your support,” Atinga said.
