President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Endorses Bawumia and NAPO as Winning Pair for NPP in 2024 General Elections
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has given his full support to the candidacy of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, asserting his strong confidence in their capability to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to triumph in the upcoming 2024 national elections.
On Thursday, July 4th, the National Council of the NPP officially ratified Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Following this announcement, President Akufo-Addo conveyed his enthusiasm for the duo, lauding them as an “outstanding team.”
He expressed firm belief that they will secure a decisive victory for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.
Addressing reporters post-announcement, President Akufo-Addo remarked, “The National Council has approved the nomination of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The NPP possesses a formidable ticket, and with this duo, we will emerge victorious on December 7th, 2024. This is the news. The confidence is high, they are a formidable pair, and they will win.”
