Ten Hag Stays At Man Utd Until 2026

Manchester United has exercised a one-year contract extension option for manager Erik ten Hag, extending his tenure until 2026.

Ten Hag, who joined the club in 2022, has won two trophies during his time at Old Trafford. In a statement, he expressed his pleasure in continuing to work with the club and acknowledged the progress made, while also emphasizing the need for further hard work.

Ten Hag’s first season saw a third-place finish in the Premier League and a Carabao Cup victory, but the second season was more challenging, with an eighth-place finish and early Champions League exit.

However, a crucial FA Cup win against Manchester City secured his position. Following a season review, the club, now led by co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, decided to retain Ten Hag as manager, opting to implement structural improvements to support him.
