Dancer and member of Dance With Purpose (DWP) group, Roland Frimpong Nyarko, popularly known as Champion Rollie, has made a startling revelation about his highest payday as a dancer. In an interview on Joy Prime’s 4Kids Paradise, Rollie disclosed that he earned a whopping GH₵ 70,000.00 as an influencer for the Ghana vs Egypt match earlier this year.
“This is the first time I’m disclosing this. The highest amount I’ve been paid is GH₵ 70,000.00… I did a lot of things by posting on my social media, and that’s the biggest contract I’ve ever signed,” he revealed.
Rollie expressed his initial disbelief upon receiving the payment, stating that it was only confirmed when he received the message from his bank account. He emphasized that his earnings as a professional dancer vary depending on the event and contract, but the fulfillment he gets from impacting lives through his art is priceless.
“Knowing that you’re having a good impact and influence on the youth and people who are watching you is also an amazing feeling,” he said.
The dancer recently organized the ‘Clothe-A-Child; Change A Life’ fun fair, supporting over 100 street children, and plans to use his earnings to train potential young dancers and participate in Britain’s Got Talent (BGT). Champion Rollie aims to continue showcasing his skills and providing entertainment through his performances.
