The tragedy occurred on Tuesday, July 2, when a local fetish priest, Osman Majeed, allegedly opened fire on a group of youths, claiming they were attempting to attack him.

The incident took place in a secluded area near the suspect’s residence, resulting in the instant deaths of three individuals. Another victim succumbed to gunshot wounds later, bringing the total death toll to four. The scene of the crime still bore the scars of the violence a day later, with visible bloodstains and bullet cartridges scattered about.

The shooting has sent shockwaves through the community, with farmers avoiding their fields and a nearby school closing temporarily due to safety concerns.
