“I’m Back in Christ, and No One Can Convince Me Otherwise” – Efia Odo

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Efia Odo, has opened up about her journey back to Christianity after a period of feeling unfulfilled and empty.

In a post on her social media page, Efia revealed that she was raised in a Christian home and worshipped Jesus throughout her life. However, she distanced herself from the church and stopped worshipping Christ in search of a personal connection with God. This decision, she admitted, left her feeling empty.

Efia has now declared her return to Christianity, stating that she is a member of The Makers House Chapel and is committed to worshipping Christ regardless of criticism or opinions from others.

“I was born in a Christian home, I worshipped Jesus all my life. Yes, at one point I wanted to find God on my own and distanced myself from the church. I felt empty when I stopped worshipping Christ. Now I’m back in Christ and no one can convince me otherwise. If you think I’m brainwashed, then so be it, I don’t need to be saved,” she wrote.

Efia’s statement came in response to a question from a follower about her religious beliefs and current faith status.

In a separate post, Efia criticized the popular “Kiki Challenge” trend, accusing participants of disrespecting Christianity with their suggestive videos.

“That kiki challenge is a disgusting challenge. Do all the sexy shit y’all want but leave Christianity and the church out of it. Y’all not afraid of God and will do anything cuz it’s a trend,” she wrote.

The #KikiChallenge has gone viral on social media, with many participants filming themselves dancing to the song “Kiki” by Fuse ODG and Leftizzle outside before cutting to more intimate locations. Efia’s criticism stems from the use of religious symbols and imagery in some of the videos.
