Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan offered some words of encouragement to goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad following his departure from Asante Kotoko.

The 21-year-old Danlad spent eight years with Kotoko, rising from a teenager to the starting goalkeeper and even team captain.

However, Gyan acknowledged a dip in form since Danlad’s return from the 2022 World Cup.

Gyan, a former Black Stars captain himself, is confident Danlad can recapture his prior success. “Remember what made you a star during your loans and with Kotoko,” Gyan advised Danlad on Wontumi Radio. “You’re young, and there’s so much more to achieve. The potential is limitless!”
