“Come Forward If You Have Any Child With My Late Son” – Mohbad’s Father
- Mohbad's father, appeals to women to come forward if they have a child with his late son
- DNA test will be conducted to verify paternity and ensure the continuation of Mohbad's lineage
- The appeal comes amid an ongoing paternity dispute over Mohbad's child, Liam, with his baby mama, Wunmi
Mr. Joseph Aloba, father of the renowned Nigerian singer Mohbad, has made a public appeal to women who may have had children with his son to come forward.
During a recent TikTok live session, Mr. Aloba expressed his sincere desire to acknowledge any children fathered by Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba. He emphasized that a DNA test would be conducted to verify paternity and hoped that any potential grandchildren would be recognized and welcomed into the family.
This development follows ongoing disputes surrounding the paternity of Liam, a child Mohbad had with his baby mama, Wunmi. Mr. Aloba has previously raised questions about Liam’s paternity and has been advocating for a DNA test, which Wunmi has yet to comply with.
Mohbad, who tragically passed away in September 2023, left an indelible mark on the Nigerian music scene. His father’s plea aims to ensure the continuation of his lineage and legacy.
“I want to appeal to any woman who has a child for my son, Mohbad, to please come forward,” Mr. Aloba said during the TikTok live session. “We will conduct a DNA test to verify paternity, and if the child is indeed my grandchild, we will welcome them into our family.”
