Chelsea have secured the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for £30 million. The 25-year-old Leicester academy product has committed to a six-year contract, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until 2030.

This transfer strategically falls before the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules deadline, aiding Leicester in meeting financial regulations.

“It’s incredible to be a Chelsea player,” said Dewsbury-Hall. “This is a dream club for many, and I’m honored to be here.”

He reunites with manager Enzo Maresca, who guided Leicester to the Championship title last season before joining Chelsea this summer.

Dewsbury-Hall impressed last campaign, contributing a noteworthy 12 goals and 12 assists in 44 league appearances. His performances were rewarded with both Leicester’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season accolades.

He becomes Chelsea’s fourth summer signing, following defender Tosin Adarabioyo (free transfer from Fulham), midfielder Omari Kellyman (£19 million from Aston Villa), and teenage forward Marc Guiu (£5 million from Barcelona).
