Tension Grips Banvim Following Discovery of Two Slain Children

In Banvim, a community within the Kakpagyili electoral area of the Northern Region, unrest has escalated following the reported killing of two children.

Arafat and Ayaa, who went missing on Saturday, June 22, 2024, after informing their parents of a visit to a neighbor, have been identified as the victims. Their failure to return home sparked immediate concern among locals.

Despite community efforts to search the neighbor’s residence, no clues emerged, intensifying anxiety among residents.

Alhaji Hafiz Andani, the assembly member for Kakpagyili, disclosed that police investigations on Sunday uncovered the bodies in an abandoned car parked behind the suspect’s residence.
