Movie Star Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, made headlines on Sunday as he took off his neck brace, attributing his recovery to what he described as miraculous intervention by Pastor Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.

Lil Win had been wearing the brace since May 25, following a car accident near Kumasi Technical University.

The incident, involving his vehicle, tragically resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy named Nana Yaw, who was with his father at the time of the collision.

Eyewitnesses reported that Lil Win was allegedly speeding in the congested area of Amakom when the accident occurred. The father and son were initially treated at a local health facility and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where young Nana Yaw sadly passed away.

Following his discharge from the hospital, Lil Win was arrested on June 3 by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command. This came after public appeals from the deceased’s family for justice. Initially, police cited Lil Win’s health condition as a reason for the delay in his arrest.

At the Asokore Mampong District Court, Lil Win was granted bail in the amount of GH¢50,000 with two sureties. He faces charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm in connection with the accident.

The actor’s recent actions, removing his neck brace after what he called ‘instant healing’ through the prayers of Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah, have sparked further public interest and discussion about the role of spiritual faith in personal recovery.
