Joke Silva, the veteran Nollywood actress and wife of Olu Jacobs, has dismissed rumors circulating about her husband’s death, affirming that he is alive and in good health.
This is not the first time such unfounded rumors about the iconic Nigerian actor have surfaced on social media.
Responding to an inquiry via SMS, Joke Silva stated firmly, “My husband is alive and doing just fine.”
A close family source, who preferred anonymity, confirmed to Vanguard over the phone that the President of the AGN (Actor’s Guild of Nigeria) had recently spoken with Joke Silva for over an hour, during which there was no mention of any such news.
“The way she was chatting away on the phone, one wouldn’t think she had just lost her husband,” the source remarked.
Additionally, Betty Irabor, a family associate, also clarified that the rumor is entirely false.
