The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a significant decision regarding his running mate for the upcoming December 7 election. According to sources, Dr. Bawumia has chosen Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, fondly referred to as NAPO, to join him on the ticket.

Henry Nana Boakye, National Organiser of the NPP, confirmed the development in a Facebook post on Monday, noting that Dr. Bawumia’s nominaton is subject to approval by the National Council.
