The Chris Attoh Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has donated essential items to the Genesis School in Jamestown, Accra, which provides free education to underprivileged children.
The donation included bags of rice, stationery, cooking oil, detergents, canned tomatoes, drinks, and biscuits. Renowned actor and philanthropist Chris Attoh emphasized the importance of kindness, love, and supporting those in need.
“It is heartening to know that our efforts can make a difference. We hope to expand our impact in the future,” Attoh said. “Our goal is to emphasize the importance of taking care of our country and its youth. We seek to reach out to anyone who can contribute, providing a new avenue for us all to make a difference together.”
Racheal Naa Asabea Anang, founder of the school, expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that it will elevate the standard of education and create transformative opportunities for the students. She appealed to other organizations and individuals for support, highlighting the school’s commitment to providing free education, breakfast, lunch, and stationery to over 200 enrolled children.
A contribution of 100 kilos of food can sustain the school for three weeks to a month, Anang noted, expressing gratitude for the Chris Attoh Foundation’s unwavering commitment to education.
