The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is placing a strong emphasis on securing votes in the Ashanti Region, a traditionally loyal area for the party.
Expressing confidence in the region’s unwavering support, Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign, highlighted its significance in the upcoming December election.
“The Ashanti Region has always been a pillar for the NPP, and we are confident they will stand by us again,” Aboagye stated.
He acknowledged the need for continued commitment, pledging, “We will work tirelessly to address the needs of the Ashanti people and demonstrate our achievements to earn their continued trust.”
Dr. Bawumia’s recent tour further emphasized the region’s importance. Aboagye noted, “The Ashanti Region remains a top priority, and Dr. Bawumia’s dedication reflects that.”
The NPP recognizes the Ashanti Region’s potential to influence the election’s outcome.
While acknowledging Dr. Bawumia’s late entry into the race, Aboagye praised his energetic campaigning, stating, “There’s no denying Dr. Bawumia’s unwavering commitment. He has been the most hardworking candidate despite the shorter timeframe.”
Looking ahead, Aboagye outlined the NPP’s strategy: “We are determined to maintain the momentum and strengthen our presence in the Ashanti Region. We will continue serving the people and ensure a strong partnership for victory.”
