“John Mahama Donates GHC20,000 to Muslim Group”

Former President John Mahama joined the Ahlussuna Wal-Jamah Muslim Group for their Eid prayers at the State House forecourt, where he was warmly received by the Muslim community. The event saw a large turnout of members from the Muslim community, all gathered to celebrate Eid Mubarak.

During the celebration, Mahama made a generous donation of GHC20,000.00 and a sheep to the group, demonstrating his commitment to supporting the community. In his address, Mahama extended his wishes for a happy Eid Mubarak and Father’s Day, emphasizing the importance of unity and support within the community.

He stated, “Happy Eid Mubarak and Father’s Day to all. It is an honor to be here with you today and to contribute to our community with a donation of GHC20,000.00 and a sheep. Your support and unity are invaluable.”

Mahama also highlighted the significance of inclusion and revealed that the Muslim manifesto, presented by the national chief imam, would be integrated into the broader people’s manifesto.
