“Wendy Shay, Bullet Patch Things Up, Finalize New Contract”

Rufftown Records CEO and artiste manager, Bullet, has revealed that his feud with Wendy Shay, one of his top artistes, is nearing resolution. Bullet, whose real name is Ricky Nana Agyemang, disclosed that he has held a meeting with Wendy Shay’s mother and her godfather, Kwesi Ernest, to discuss the disagreement between them.

In an interview on UTV over the weekend, Bullet stated that they are currently working on a new contract agreement. “We have discussed the issue, I have talked with Wendy Shay herself, her mother, and Kwesi Ernest. As of now, by God’s Grace, we are like 90 percent done with the contract; we are looking forward to our next step,” he said.

Last month, Wendy Shay sparked rumors of her exit from Rufftown Records when she announced that her music video for her new song would not be available on the label’s platform. She also launched her new YouTube channel, which was created to host all her music videos, fueling speculations about her departure from the record label.

Wendy Shay had confirmed that her contract with Rufftown Records was nearing its end, and she had received an offer from an American label. Bullet had also disclosed that he had issues with Wendy Shay regarding some contractual agreements, which led to the disagreement between them.

The disagreement had forced Wendy Shay to shun the release of her music video via Rufftown Records, with Bullet denying that the feud was a publicity stunt. “It was not a publicity stunt; what would have been the use of it to the label? It was a stunt? You don’t use stunts to promote projects, you use money to promote them,” he noted.
