Tragedy Strikes In Kasoa as Couple Stab Each Other, One Dead

A violent dispute between a young couple in Kasoa, Central Region, has ended in tragedy, leaving one dead and the other fighting for life. The incident occurred at Adam Nana in the Awutu Senya East Municipality, shocking residents and authorities alike.

According to police sources, the deceased, a 27-year-old level 200 student, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Justice, 27, after receiving a tip from a friend that he had brought another woman to his residence. Enraged, she rushed to his house on a motorbike and attacked him with a knife as soon as he opened the door.

Justice, critically injured in the back, retaliated in the heat of the moment, grabbing the knife and stabbing his girlfriend multiple times in the chest. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries, while Justice remains in critical condition at a local hospital.

Eyewitnesses report hearing loud screams and shouts from the couple’s residence on the fateful night, but no one intervened, assuming it was just another domestic dispute. Little did they know that the situation would escalate into a tragic confrontation.

“The deceased stabbed Justice in the back, and in the spur of the moment, he also grabbed the knife and stabbed her multiple times in the chest, leading to her death,” police sources revealed. “The incident is a sobering reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence and the importance of seeking help in resolving relationship conflicts peacefully.”

The police are currently investigating the incident and have called on residents to come forward with any information that may aid in their inquiry. As the community mourns the loss of the young woman, her family and friends are left to grapple with the tragedy, hoping that justice will be served.
