Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, gave the Black Stars a morale boost today by donating GH₵ 500,000 ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic.

Dr. Bawumia visited the team in Kumasi and presented the donation to support their preparations for tonight’s match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“On behalf of myself, the President, and all Ghanaians, I want to assure you we stand firmly behind you,” Dr. Bawumia told the players and coaches. “We urge you to go out there and make us proud by defeating your opponent.”

He continued, “We wish you the very best. God bless you. The entire nation, with its red, gold, green, and black star, is behind you. We’ll be praying for you and supporting you to victory over Central African Republic.”

The highly anticipated match kicks off at 7:00 pm tonight in Kumasi.
