Two Arrested For False Claim Of Missing Manhood

The Kasseh Police Command has arrested Tayabu Eliazu, 35, and Assan Gariba, 24, for allegedly spreading false information that their manhood had disappeared after shaking hands with a stranger, Abubakr Tanko, an Ivorian national.

The accusation led to a mob attack on Tanko, who is currently hospitalized at the Ada East District Hospital. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Joseph Atsu Dzineku confirmed the incident to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).

ACP Dzineku stated that one of the arrested individuals later claimed his penis had been restored, while the other insisted it had shrunk. The police commander emphasized that the matter is under investigation and urged the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.

The arrested individuals alleged that Tanko approached them near the Kasseh central mosque, seeking accommodation for the night. They claimed that after shaking hands with Tanko, they experienced a sudden reduction in penis size.

The Assembly Member for the Kasseh electoral area, Mr. Ebenezer Kpodo, called for vigilance and prompt reporting of suspicious activities to authorities.

The police are investigating the incident and have arranged for medical examinations to ascertain the truth behind the claims.
