During a gathering with aspiring musicians in Navrongo, dancehall sensation Shatta Wale disclosed a significant personal milestone: abstaining from marijuana for the past five months.
Emphasizing the importance of focusing on musical pursuits, he urged fellow artists to steer clear of drugs and concentrate on honing their craft.
“I haven’t smoked weed in five months. If I tell someone, they might not believe it; I only smoke cigarettes now,” he shared, acknowledging potential skepticism about his revelation.
Encouraging the prioritization of well-being, Shatta Wale underscored the need to eschew harmful substances. “Sometimes, it’s necessary to let go of certain habits and focus on self-improvement. Refrain from tramadol and similar substances because I know individuals whose lives have been ruined by them,” he cautioned, concluding his advice with a firm stance on personal betterment.
