Amidst the storm that shook her marital bliss, Fella Makafui remains composed, choosing not to erase the inked declaration of her former husband’s name on her skin.
In an interview held in Kumasi, where she prepares to unveil her movie “Resonance” this weekend, the Ghanaian actress expressed her resolve to retain the tattoo bearing Medikal’s name, despite their parting ways.
During the discussion about her body art, Makafui, who also bears a tattoo of “Samuel,” Medikal’s name, affirmed her decision saying, “It’s a permanent mark. I would have removed it earlier if I intended to. I hold Medikal in high regard.”
Meanwhile, Medikal has taken a different route, covering up the tattoo of Fella Makafui’s name on his skin. This alteration came shortly after the rapper announced the dissolution of their union.
Explaining his decision to conceal the tattoo, Medikal revealed that he wanted to avoid discomfort with future partners, stating, “It’s personal; I wouldn’t want my next partner to encounter my ex’s name during intimate moments.”
Apart from their name tattoos, the former couple also shares matching tattoos of a half-face lion, forming a complete image when their hands unite. Whether these symbolic tattoos will undergo similar transformations remains uncertain.
