Ghanaian hip-hop/Hiplife artiste Kweku Flick has drawn a clear line in the sand regarding rap ‘beef’ directed at him. While he tolerates insults aimed at him, he vowed to personally confront and discipline anyone who disrespects his mother.
In an interview, Kweku Flick emphasized, “If you insult me, I won’t mind you, but if you extend it to my mum, then you’ve crossed the line. I will come to your house and beat you.”
The ‘Money’ hitmaker, known for his trailblazing work in the Ghanaian Drill genre (Asakaa), clarified that he would not resort to violent or deadly actions, but instead, administer a disciplinary beating. “I will whip you like a student being disciplined by his teacher.”
Kweku Flick attributed his transformation from a stubborn and bullying behavior to his rise to fame, recognizing his influence on young fans. “Fame has changed me. I realized that many young people look up to me, which prompted the change.”
The artiste is currently promoting his new Highlife track, ‘Ye koom’, featuring Fameye, showcasing his versatility and continued contribution to the Ghanaian music scene.
