They then attacked the pair with tear gas and pepper spray, stealing Bissouma’s expensive Richard Mille watch valued at £260,000.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning as Bissouma returned to his hotel. French authorities are investigating the crime to identify the perpetrators.
This unfortunate event has forced Bissouma to miss Mali’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined Tottenham from Brighton last summer and played a key role in their Europa League qualification.
