Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has unveiled plans to introduce electronic gates (E-Gates) at Kotoka International Airport by the year’s end.
During a gathering with religious leaders in Cape Coast to kick off his regional tour, Vice President Bawumia disclosed that these E-Gates will streamline arrivals, eliminating the need for traditional immigration checks for Ghanaian travelers.
“In fact, before the year concludes, arriving at Kotoka Airport will be a breeze. With the E-Gates, simply insert your Ghana card, and the gate will grant you entry,” he affirmed.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized his commitment to fostering dialogue with religious bodies on matters of education, particularly regarding discipline and school management.
