Accra Pilgrims Depart for Hajj Today

The Hajj airlift begins in Accra today with check-in starting at 4pm. Pilgrims flying on the first flight have already been informed.
This follows the successful completion of the Tamale airlift, which saw five batches of pilgrims flown to Madina, Saudi Arabia.
A medical team will be on hand in Saudi Arabia to assist pilgrims with any health needs.
The Hajj Board is satisfied with the smooth operation of the Tamale airlift and is now prepared for the Accra segment, which will see four flights take off.
State agencies including the Ghana Airport Company, Immigration Service, Police, and Customs have all deployed personnel to the Hajj Village near Kotoka International Airport to ensure a smooth operation.
