Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, the church, and other faith-based organizations to drive the country’s development.
He advocated for a strengthened partnership, recognizing the church and other faith-based organizations as key development partners. To motivate them, he suggested incentives like tax rebates.
During his campaign tour to the Volta Region, Bawumia addressed the clergy, expressing his determination to win the presidential election and focus on improving people’s lives.
He assured that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would develop policies and programs to address citizens’ critical needs, promoting unity through religious tolerance.
If elected, he pledged to prioritize support for the needy and tackle unemployment through digital education.
Bawumia sought the clergy’s support through prayers and counsel, acknowledging their crucial role in national development.
