Cassiel Ato Forson, Minority Leader in Parliament, has formally appealed to Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, urging for live coverage of the ongoing ambulance trial.

In a letter dated Thursday (30 May), addressed to the Chief Justice, legal representatives of the Minority Leader emphasized the necessity for live broadcast, citing recent developments that have influenced public opinion and the judicial process.

The letter, representing Honourable Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, states, ‘We formally request the live broadcast of all future court proceedings in the case of Republic Vs Cassiel Ato Forson & 2 Ors (Case No: CR/0198/2022). This appeal is made on behalf of our client, given recent events that have significantly shaped public perception and the dispensation of justice.’
