“I brushed my teeth 6 times for a perfect kissing scene in my Water and Garri movie” – Tiwa Savage

Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has made a surprising revelation about her preparations for a kissing scene in her debut movie, “Water & Garri”. In a recent interview with BET, Tiwa Savage explained that she brushed her teeth an astonishing six times to ensure a good impression on set.

The kissing scene was scheduled for her very first day on set, and Tiwa Savage was determined to make it a success. She recalled, “The first day on set, I had my kissing scene. I am glad it was my first day because I just entered it. I remember in my dressing room, I brushed my teeth like five or six times because I needed to represent.”

Tiwa Savage’s co-star, Andrew Bunting, who plays Kay in the movie, also took similar precautions, rinsing his mouth multiple times. Tiwa Savage appreciated the supportive and kind nature of the entire cast, which made her first day on set, marked by the kissing scene, a comfortable experience.

Meanwhile, “Water and Garri” has achieved remarkable success, becoming the biggest weekend opener ever for Prime Video Nigeria and garnering the highest number of streams amongst all titles on the platform.
