Bawumia Takes Campaign Blitz to Volta Region Today

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), is gearing up for an intensive day of campaigning in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region.

Scheduled for Thursday, May 30, this campaign venture will encompass a diverse array of engagements with key stakeholders including chiefs, clergy, Muslim leaders, market traders, transport associations, youth groups, and more.

The announcement was made via a statement issued by Mr. Pope Yao Yevoo, the NPP’s Volta Regional Secretary.

“The NPP’s Volta Regional Chairman, alongside the 2024 Regional Campaign Head and their team, wish to notify all party members and supporters of the impending day-long campaign tour by the Vice President and 2024 Presidential Candidate to Ho,” the statement affirmed.

It further elaborated that these interactions will provide an invaluable platform for the Flagbearer to articulate his vision for the future of Ghana.

In anticipation of the visit, the party is rallying its supporters to assemble in full force to accord what they confidently term ‘our next President’ a resounding reception.

Following this, Dr. Bawumia is slated to continue his campaign trail into the Oti Region on Friday, embarking on a similar tour.
