A shocking CCTV footage has emerged showing a daylight robbery at Spintex, where one of the robbers was seen wielding a pistol and firing warning shots before attacking the victim.The footage, which has been widely shared on social media, reveals that the robbery incident took place on Monday, May 27 at the Pan-African Savings and Loans branch at Spintex.
According to the date captured on the footage, the two robbers, who were riding a motorbike, followed the victim, a worker at the Pan-African Savings and Loans branch, to her workplace.The CCTV camera captured the robbers parking their motorbike just a few seconds after the victim had parked her vehicle in front of the savings and loans company.
The robbers then got down from their motorbike, fired a warning shot, and moved closer to the victim’s vehicle, causing chaos and panic in the area.Before the victim could exit her vehicle, the robbers attacked her and bolted away with a bag suspected to be carrying a huge sum of money.
The robbers left the scene firing gunshots while riding away on their motorbike, with no threats or fight back from any security personnel.
The police are yet to comment on the matter, but an aftermath video of the incident on social media shows that the victim sustained a bruise on her elbow and was transported to another vehicle for treatment at the hospital.
