Lilwin Expresses Gratitude to God over Car Accident
Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has expressed his gratitude to God for surviving a horrific car accident on Saturday, just hours before the premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi.
Speaking at the movie premiere, Lilwin, who was visibly injured with a white bandage covering his forehead, said, “It was only by the grace of God that I survived the crash.” He also extended his appreciation to everyone who supported him.
Despite being advised to rest indoors, Lilwin attended the event to acknowledge the efforts of the individuals, including local chiefs, who made it to the premiere.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning at Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti region, when Lilwin’s vehicle collided head-on with a private family car carrying a father and his four-year-old child. The child sustained severe head injuries and was left unresponsive.
Lilwin and his two passengers also suffered head injuries, while a third victim reported that her car lights were smashed by the speeding vehicle. The impact of the collision left the two cars severely damaged.
Eyewitnesses reported that Lilwin was driving at top speed from the Amakom intersection to the WAEC area when he suddenly veered into the adjacent lane, causing the collision.
