Founder of World Miracle Outreach, Rev. Dr. Lawrence Tetteh, has voiced his disdain for fellow clergy members who engage in fraudulent practices within the Christian faith, particularly in the realm of prophecies.
In a recent interview on a Kumasi-based radio station, the esteemed evangelist condemned the prevalence of fake prophetic declarations, labeling them as sheer folly.
Dr. Tetteh emphasized the significance of genuine miracles in upholding the credibility of the church but denounced the resort to deceitful means to achieve them.
“Why resort to falsehood to showcase God’s power? It’s not just foolish; it’s absurd beyond measure,” Dr. Lawrence expressed adamantly during the flagship program hosted by Kwame Tanko.
While acknowledging the importance of discerning authentic spiritual experiences from deceptive tactics, the respected preacher underscored the necessity of maintaining integrity and sincerity in matters of faith.
He cautioned against the detrimental effects of counterfeit miracles on believers’ trust and urged a return to genuine connections with the divine.
Dr. Tetteh also stressed the existence of legitimate prophetic revelations amidst the prevalence of counterfeit claims.
Quoting from his extensive experience as a teacher of the Gospel, he emphasized the undeniable authenticity of true miracles, contrasting them with fabricated displays.
“Only a fool would deny the authenticity of a blind man receiving sight,” he asserted, emphasizing the need for believers to exercise discernment in evaluating supernatural occurrences.
