Afua Asantewaa, known for her attempt at the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon, has publicly criticized Fella Makafui’s flat tummy products.
In a social media video, Afua Asantewaa claimed that she was misled into purchasing additional products, including belly gel and arm gel, when she intended to buy only a corset. “The way they market the product, you may think you’re going to buy just a corset, and you end up buying belly gel and arm gel,” she said.
Afua Asantewaa, who has become a influential figure in Ghana’s public space, expressed her dissatisfaction with the products, stating, “Some of the products are in my house, so when I get to Ghana, I will do a live video and let you see them. Women are suffering. The products are still there as I speak.”
This criticism comes after Medikal, in a separate video, revealed that Fella Makafui’s flat tummy and curvaceous figure are the result of tummy tuck and liposuction procedures. He admitted to paying for the procedures despite his initial reservations, citing his love for his wife.
Afua Asantewaa’s comments have sparked a conversation about the marketing and efficacy of beauty products in Ghana, with many women sharing their own experiences and opinions on social media.
