Zoomlion Ghana Limited, a pioneer in waste management, is embarking on a groundbreaking initiative to empower 18 Youth Employment Agency (YEA) beneficiaries in the Waste and Sanitation Module.

These sanitation workers will embark on a 21-day exposure trip to Belarus and Russia, where they will discover innovative approaches to effective sanitation and waste management practices.

This trip, the first of its kind, aims to expose street sweepers to cutting-edge techniques, including efficient worker deployment, sanitary tools, and sweeping methods.

Following a previous trip by company executives, this initiative seeks to adapt and implement best practices, fostering collaboration and identifying potential waste management opportunities.

According to Zoomlion’s Managing Director, Mrs. Gloria Opoku Anti, this exposure trip marks a significant milestone in empowering street sweepers and enhancing sanitation practices.

This initiative demonstrates Zoomlion’s commitment to investing in the next generation of sanitation leaders and promoting sustainable practices.

Beneficiaries, including Madam Felicia Larbi Okai and Mr. Solomon Dankwa, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn and improve their skills.

They promised to share their newfound knowledge with their teammates upon their return, aiming to improve their work and contribute to a cleaner Ghana.

During their 21-day journey, the participants will explore new ideas and bring back innovative solutions to tackle sanitation challenges.

We anticipate valuable insights and a positive impact, further solidifying Zoomlion’s dedication to waste management excellence.
