Identity and Photo of Driver Killed in Presidential Convoy Crash Revealed

The recent tragic accident involving President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s convoy has claimed the life of one of its drivers, with others sustaining serious injuries.
The convoy, returning from the funeral of late Ejisu MP John Kumah, met with the accident at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region, reportedly caused by a KIA truck crossing its path at high speed.
Fortunately, President Akufo-Addo was not present in the convoy at the time of the incident.
However, two military officers, part of the presidential detail, were among the injured and have been airlifted to Accra for advanced medical care.
In an official statement released on May 19, the Presidency confirmed the unfortunate event and disclosed the name of the deceased driver as Kwesi Atta.
