The New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has pledged to focus his campaign on addressing the pressing social and economic challenges facing Ghanaians, rather than resorting to personal attacks.
During a meeting with Wa Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV at his palace in Wa on Sunday, May 19, Dr. Bawumia committed to upholding the chief’s counsel to maintain a respectful and dignified campaign. ‘
I am deeply guided by your wisdom and have been sharing my vision with the people of Ghana in a constructive manner, without insults. This approach has been the hallmark of my campaign, and I will continue to engage with Ghanaians on my plans for the country’s progress and our achievements as a government, seeking their support to take our nation to the next level.’
Dr. Bawumia also appealed to Wa Naa and his people to support his presidential bid in the upcoming December 7 general elections.”
