NDC Wants NPP Executives To Vote No Confidence Against Bawumia

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling on the Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to immediately pass vote of no confidence against their flagbearer who doubles as the Vice President of the country, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.


Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during his tour to North- East met with the clergy as part of his nationwide tour explained that his statement may have been taken out of context.


Dr. Bawumia explained that his statement was made within the context that the church and other faith-based institutions have done a lot for the country including the building of schools, hospitals, and other essential facilities and deserved to be helped to do more.


However, a Communication Team Member for the NDC in the Ashanti region, Kofi Amoabeng speaking to the press said, Dr. Bawumia sees the work of the clergy as a joke, hence he should immediately apologize for his remarks.
