President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has commended Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, recognizing him as a leader dedicated to fostering peace, reconciliation, and national cohesion.
Highlighting Otumfuo’s successful initiatives in facilitating dialogue during times of conflict, the President emphasized his widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally.
During the event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Asantehene’s reign, Akufo-Addo praised him for his efforts in modernizing the chieftaincy institution and resolving disputes within the Asante Kingdom.
“For twenty-five years, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has epitomized unity, progress, and tradition for the Asante kingdom and the entirety of Ghana,” Akufo-Addo remarked.
He further noted Otumfuo’s dedication to the well-being of his people and his robust leadership, which has earned him universal respect and admiration.
