Ghanaian rapper Medikal is celebrating a major win after selling out the O2 Indigo venue in London. His success caught the eye of rap legend Rick Ross, who reached out to congratulate him.
The two rappers connected on Instagram Live, where Rick Ross expressed his admiration for Medikal’s talent.
He even jokingly requested to join Medikal’s “Stubborn Academy,” a reference to Medikal’s hit song with Shatta Wale.
This conversation comes as Rick Ross is working on a project to unite top African artists.
He’s already enlisted artists like King Promise, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif, and it seems Medikal is next on his list.
Medikal enthusiastically welcomed the collaboration and promised Rick Ross a warm Ghanaian welcome.
