The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, is grieving the loss of one of its seasoned actors, Zulu Adigwe, who reportedly passed away.
According to reports, Adigwe breathed his last on Tuesday evening, with the news of his demise being shared on Instagram by movie producer Stanley Nwoko.
“It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of the esteemed actor, Zulu Adigwe. The circumstances surrounding his demise are yet to be disclosed,” Nwoko expressed in his post.
Throughout his illustrious career, Adigwe made a significant impact on the industry with notable roles in renowned movies such as “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free.”
Adigwe’s passing adds to the unfortunate toll Nollywood has faced in 2024, with the loss of several other talents including Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope.
