Mr Basil Hamadeh who replaces Mr Mohammad Gulfam was introduced to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during a courtesy call by the management of the hotel on Friday, April 19, 2024.
In his submission, Mr Hamadeh assured Otumfuo of delivering first-class services to customers.
“I want to tell you that we are very ready to make your guests in Kumasi proud. We are doing our best to give our best and international service to your guests and our guests as well. Thank you very much for receiving us.”
Welcoming him, Otumfuo served his expectation of the best of service to his guests including heads of state who would make it to his 25th anniversary celebrations.
“You come at a time when I am in the course of my 25th Anniversary celebration expecting so many visitors. I know yours would be the first point of call for most of my visitors. I would encourage you to make sure that they get the hospitality they need.”
Presenting a yardstick in service to him, Otumfuo challenged the company to be a good ambassador in terms of service, courtesy, and hospitality.
He also urged the new General Manager to provide appropriate and needed training to staff.
Meanwhile, the King advised the management of the hotel to put in the requisite effort for development.
Among the delegation were Gabriel Owusu, the Rooms Division Manager, Ametepe Amegnonam, the Food & Beverage Manager, Barbara Mensah, the Sales & Marketing Manager, Jonathan Nii Doodu, the Front office Manager, Omar Mohammed, the Financial controller and Mounif Imad, the Brand Financial controller.
