Call Off Strike, Return To Negotiation Table – FWSC To Teacher Unions

The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) has appealed to the three teacher unions currently on a nationwide strike to call off the strike action immediately and come back to the negotiating table to continue with the engagement in good faith.

The unions have accused the commission of sluggishness in addressing their concerns regarding conditions of service.

The FWSC in a press statement has rebutted the allegations made by the three teacher unions asserting that there has not been any delay in the negotiations.

However, the FWSC has asked the leadership of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), NAGRAT, CCT-GH, CPMU, MoF to a meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the MoE conference room to address the negotiations.
